But first, let's get to know each other a little. I'll go first.
I'm not after those perfect poses, or stiff, awkward smiles.
Nope, I want the real stuff. The messy, the untamed, the beautiful stuff. I want these to be more than just photos. I want you to look back at these photos and feel it, the moment, the energy, the love. I also don't want to be just a photographer to you. I want to get to know you, your story, your family, your spark. I want to be friends, and I want to create meaningful photos for you. Let's connect, and capture some memories together!
I know all too well just how quickly time passes us by. Photography is my means to document this wild journey we call life. A way to freeze little those moments in time. I want to capture the little things, the big, and all the in-between. The stuff that matters most to you and your loves.
I am a photographer who believes that real is always greater than perfect.
I live in Milwaukee with my husband, our three crazy kids, and our wildly energetic pup. These five make my world go around.

I'm Erika, I am a family and wedding photographer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I am a wife and a mama of two, and my whole entire world revolves around this crazy little family of mine.
I am active and outdoorsy, and I am pretty dang happy when doing anything that combines these elements.
My pup is easily my third 'baby' and by far my favorite running buddy.
I am married to my absolute best friend. Together we travel, kiteboard, surf, paddleboard, hike, and camp. When not in the great outdoors, you can often find us chasing after our kiddos and dancing (badly) around the kitchen while cooking up some amazing food. We have no idea what we are doing when it comes to this whole parenting gig, but we must be doing something right because these tiny little humans of ours are pretty dang amazing.
I absolutely love to travel and experience new, exciting things, but when it comes down to it, it is truly the simple things that I care about most-
