I'm Erika, I am a family and wedding photographer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I am a wife and a mama to three, and my whole entire world revolves around this crazy little family of mine.
I am active and outdoorsy, and I am pretty dang happy when doing anything that combines these elements.

My pup is easily my fourth 'baby' and by far my favorite running buddy.

I am married to my absolute best friend. Together we travel, kiteboard, surf, paddleboard, hike, and camp.  When not in the great outdoors, you can often find us chasing after our kiddos and dancing (badly) around the kitchen while cooking up some amazing food.

I absolutely love to travel and experience new, exciting things, but when it comes down to it, it is truly the simple things that I care about most-
Family walks to our favorite coffee shop
Spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen
  Late night chats
Creating art and plenty of messes with the kids
  Picnics in the backyard
  Hikes along the lake
  Windblown hair, bare feet
The day to day beautiful craziness that is our life.

This is my why.
Photography is a means to document this wild journey. To create a keepsake of a moment otherwise gone. A way to hold on to those snippets of time, that love so fierce. I want you to look back at your photos and feel it, that overwhelming, heart and soul encompassing love that you have for your people. From big extraordinary moments to the small mundane, the love doesn't change. I want you to remember who you are, who they are, at this moment in your lives.

I believe that real is always greater than perfect. The photographs that make my heart sing are images that show connection. That real, honest, connection between you and those that you love. Those connections, those moments that make your life yours.

I know all too well just how quickly time passes us by.
Let me freeze some moments of this crazy life for you.

The day to day beautiful craziness that is our life.  This is my why.
